Wide receiver Zay Flowers and the Baltimore Ravens reached agreement today on a 4 year, $140 million contract extension. The deal includes $108 million in guaranteed money.
The Ravens confirmed the extension. The new contract pays Flowers an average of $35 million per year.
Zay Flowers is a two time Pro Bowl selection. He was drafted by the Ravens in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Boston College. He has served as a primary receiving option for the team since entering the league.
The extension keeps Flowers with the Ravens beyond the remaining years of his rookie contract. The Ravens had previously exercised his fifth year option, which would have kept him under team control through the 2027 season. The new deal provides longer term security for both the player and the organization.
Flowers has posted strong receiving numbers during his first three NFL seasons. He has recorded multiple 1,000 yard campaigns and earned Pro Bowl honors in consecutive years. The Ravens have relied on him as a key part of their passing attack alongside quarterback Lamar Jackson.
