The Buffalo Bills and right guard O’Cyrus Torrence have agreed to terms on a four year contract extension worth $78.4 million. The deal includes more than $46 million in guaranteed money.

Torrence, a former second round draft pick, becomes the seventh-highest paid guard in the NFL under the new agreement. The extension keeps him under contract with the Bills through the 2030 season.

Agents Jon Perzley, Brian Mackler, and Daniel Scardigno of SPORTSTARS NYC represented Torrence in the negotiations. The agreement was reported on Friday.

Torrence was selected by the Bills in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He has started at right guard for the team since his rookie season. He has appeared in every regular season and playoff game since joining the roster and has not missed any contests.

The 26 year old was set to enter the final year of his rookie contract this season, with a scheduled base salary of approximately $3.9 million. The new deal provides long term security for both the player and the team.

Buffalo has worked to maintain continuity on its offensive line. Torrence has been a consistent starter in that unit. The Bills and Torrence had previously expressed mutual interest in reaching an extension before the regular season began.

The contract ranks among the higher guarantees at the guard position league wide. Details of the average annual value place Torrence in the top tier of paid guards.

Torrence has focused on training camp and preparation while the final points of the deal were completed. The agreement is expected to be signed in the coming days.

This move secures one of the starting offensive linemen for the Bills for the next several seasons.
