This policy explains what happens to information when you visit TrendingUSA.com. In short: we do not ask you to create an account, we do not run a mailing list, and we do not sell anything. The only information collected comes from the third-party services described below.
We do not collect personal information from you directly, with one exception: if you choose to send us a message using the form on our contact page, or email us, we receive whatever you put in that message — typically your name, email address and the message itself. We use it only to reply to you. Our contact form is provided by Google Forms, so submissions are stored in Google's systems.
We do not require registration, and we do not maintain user accounts or newsletters.
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which articles are read. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and collects information such as your approximate location (derived from your IP address), device and browser type, referring website, and which pages you view.
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. We see it only as aggregated reports — we cannot identify individual visitors from it, and we do not attempt to. You can read Google's privacy policy for details on how they handle this information, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. TrendingUSA.com does not set its own tracking cookies. Cookies on this site come from the third-party services we use, principally Google Analytics.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not prevent you from reading anything on this site.
We do not currently display advertising. If that changes, third-party advertising partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, and this policy will be updated to say so before any advertising appears.
Some articles include content from other sites, such as posts embedded from X (formerly Twitter), or videos. These embeds behave as if you had visited that site directly: the provider may collect data about you and set its own cookies. We do not control what those providers collect. The same applies to our contact form, which is hosted by Google.
Many of our articles include an audio version. These audio files are generated when the article is published and served from our own infrastructure. Playing them does not require an account and we do not track who listens to what beyond the general page analytics described above.
We do not sell, rent or trade information about our visitors. We do not share contact messages with anyone. The only parties with access to visitor data are the service providers named in this policy, under their own terms.
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
You can browse this site without giving us any personal information. You can block cookies in your browser, opt out of Google Analytics using the link above, and simply not use the contact form. If you have sent us a message and want it deleted, ask us and we will delete it.
If the way this site handles data changes — for example if we begin displaying advertising — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
Questions about this policy can be sent through our contact page or to trendingusacom@gmail.com.
