Travis Hunter said he wants to play all the snaps in every game for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In comments shared by NFL Network, Hunter stated, “I can’t stay on the sideline for nothing.” When asked how many snaps he plans to play this season, he replied, “All of them.”
Hunter is the Jaguars dual position player who competes at both wide receiver and cornerback. The team selected him with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. He is currently taking part in training camp practices at the Miller Electric Center.
During recent camp sessions, Hunter has worked on both sides of the ball. On one day of 11 on 11 drills, he recorded 17 snaps, including 10 on defense and seven on offense. Across early camp practices, his total snaps have included more defensive work along with offensive reps. He has made plays such as an interception and contested catches on deep throws from quarterbacks including Trevor Lawrence.
Hunter has returned healthy after dealing with injury concerns earlier. Jaguars coaches have used him in both offensive and defensive packages during practices. He continues to split time between the two positions while showing athleticism in team drills.
The Jaguars are preparing for the upcoming NFL season. Hunter’s comments come as the team evaluates how to use his skills on both sides of the ball. He has expressed a clear desire to remain on the field for as many plays as possible rather than sitting out snaps.
Hunter’s role as a two way contributor remains a focus for the organization during training camp. He continues to take part in daily practices that include both receiving routes and defensive coverage assignments.
