EA Sports pulled back the curtain on College Football 27 during its Opening Drive showcase on Thursday night, and there's a lot to talk about.
The biggest headline is probably the platform news: the game is coming to PC for the first time in franchise history. It'll launch on July 9, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
A beta is already live and runs through June 7.
The cover athletes for the standard edition are Oregon quarterback Dante Moore, Miami receiver Malachi Toney, and Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy. The deluxe edition features Texas edge rusher Colin Simmons, Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore, USC quarterback Jayden Maiava, and Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti, who coached the Hoosiers to their first national championship last season.
On the gameplay side, Dynasty Mode is getting a new feature called Dynasty Blueprint, which gives players more control over their program's direction. Road to Glory is also getting expanded options. EA said it took the foundation from College Football 25 and 26 and added more depth across both modes.
MVP+ Membership subscribers get early gameplay access starting July 2. The membership replaces last year's MVP Bundle and includes cross-game content with Madden NFL 27.
