Myles Garrett is heading to the Los Angeles Rams. The Cleveland Browns traded the veteran defensive end on Tuesday in exchange for edge rusher Jared Verse and a first-round pick in the 2027 NFL draft.
Garrett spent nine seasons with the Browns after they drafted him number one overall in 2017. He quickly became one of the league’s top pass rushers, but trade rumors picked up in recent weeks. Browns coach Todd Monken had said there was no guarantee Garrett would be on the roster when the season starts.
The Rams get a proven star to boost their defense. Fans on social media are already talking about how the move changes their outlook for the year. Garrett has not made any public comments yet about joining his new team.
