Cleveland Browns left guard Joel Bitonio announced his retirement from the NFL on Tuesday.
Bitonio spent his entire 12 year career with the Browns. The six time All Pro and two time Pro Bowl selection was one of the most consistent offensive linemen in the league and a steady leader in the locker room.

The 33 year old posted a farewell message titled “To Cleveland, From Joel” on the team’s website. He thanked the Dawg Pound and the city that embraced him since the Browns drafted him in the second round in 2014.
General manager Andrew Berry called Bitonio a “Cleveland Brown for life.” Bitonio is scheduled to speak at a farewell news conference later Tuesday morning.
