AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio addressed the recent alliance formed by AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio with Dorian Roldan and Omos.
The comments came during AAA Verano de Escandalo Week 2 coverage. Dominik Mysterio had aligned with Omos and Dorian Roldan the previous week at Verano de Escandalo after turning on El Grande Americano.
Rey Mysterio said the move made sense after reflection. He noted that Dominik and Dorian Roldan share similarities as two sons who hold resentment and blame their parents for their problems.
Rey stated he was initially surprised by the alliance. He added that he has faced giants in the ring before and has never backed down. He said he does not plan to start now in dealing with Omos.
Rey indicated he now understands earlier comments from Dorian Roldan. He confirmed he is not afraid of the size difference with Omos.
The alliance, sometimes referred to in connection with El Ojo, places the AAA Mega Champion alongside the large competitor Omos and Dorian Roldan. This creates direct tension with Rey in his role as general manager.
Rey has previously refused demands related to the vacant AAA Latin American Championship involving Omos and Roldan. The father and son dynamic remains central to the ongoing storyline in AAA.
The situation continues to develop within the AAA promotion under Rey’s management as Dominik holds the top title.
