Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green attended the Golden State Valkyries game against the Toronto Tempo on Sunday at Chase Center.
Green was seen courtside during the contest. Photos and video from the arena showed him watching the action. He sat among fans supporting the Valkyries.
The Valkyries defeated the Tempo 96-79. Janelle Salaun scored 24 points for Golden State. Veronica Burton added 17 points and six assists.
The Valkyries improved their record with the home win. The Tempo fell in the matchup.
Green is a longtime member of the Warriors organization. The Valkyries are the Warriors affiliated WNBA team and play their home games at Chase Center.
The game took place on Sunday evening as part of the regular WNBA schedule. Golden State controlled much of the second half to secure the victory.
Salaun made four three pointers in her performance. Other Valkyries players contributed scoring and assists in the win.
Green’s presence marked another instance of NBA players attending WNBA games involving connected franchises.
The Valkyries continue their season at home. The Tempo will look to rebound in upcoming games.
