The contest took place on Barbie Night, an event organized by the Atlanta Dream to mark the release of Reese’s signature Barbie doll from Mattel. Reese shared her thoughts after the game. She wrote: “Even though we didn’t get the win, thank you to everyone who came out yesterday. Seeing an entire arena PINK for my very own Barbie was truly a dream come true. Since I’ve been in ATL, y’all have shown me nothing but love, and I’m so thankful for it. Keep showing up & supporting this team.”

The Aces led for most of the night. Jackie Young finished with a triple-double of 28 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Aja Wilson added 23 points. The Aces shot over 60 percent from the field.

Reese joined the Dream before the 2026 season. The Barbie doll features her likeness in a pink jersey and holding a pink basketball. She is one of only two WNBA players to receive a signature Barbie doll.

The Dream’s next game is scheduled against the Phoenix Mercury. The team continues its regular season schedule following the home contest at State Farm Arena.
