Kostyuk showed improvement throughout the tournament. She had a solid run that included a straight sets quarterfinal victory. However, Noskova’s consistency and targeted play proved too much in the semifinal.
The all Czech final adds an interesting chapter to the 2026 Wimbledon women’s draw. Muchova defeated Coco Gauff in the other semifinal to set up the matchup. Noskova’s path to the final highlights her growing presence on grass and her ability to perform under pressure in big matches. The final will be the first time two Czech players have met for the Wimbledon women’s title in recent years.
