Etcheverry, the fourth seed and ranked No. 31, struggled to find consistent rhythm. He was unable to convert opportunities to break Bublik’s serve. The Argentine player had reached the semifinals with solid performances earlier in the week.
Bublik will face Quentin Halys of France in the final. Halys advanced by defeating Yannick Hanfmann in the other semifinal. Bublik holds a head to head lead over Halys from previous meetings.
This marks Bublik’s second final appearance in 2026. He won the title in Hong Kong earlier this year. The Kitzbuhel event is played on outdoor clay, a surface where Bublik has shown strong results in recent seasons.
