Seth Jarvis scored a power-play goal in overtime and the Carolina Hurricanes beat the Vegas Golden Knights 4-3 in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final on Thursday night.
The goal came after Vegas took a penalty in the extra period. Jarvis one-timed the puck past the goaltender to end the game and even the best-of-seven series at 1-1.
Carolina trailed by two goals in the third period but tied it late in regulation. The Hurricanes then won it in overtime for the second straight playoff game this postseason.
Jarvis has been one of Carolina’s top forwards throughout the playoffs. He now has multiple goals in the Final. The teams will play Game 3 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
