Brandon Bussi made his first career Stanley Cup playoff start in goal for the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 4 of the 2026 Stanley Cup Final against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The 27 year old goaltender from Sound Beach, New York, replaced Frederik Andersen in the net. Bussi helped the Hurricanes secure a win that evened the best of seven series at two games apiece.

The Hurricanes improved their record with Bussi in net during the postseason. Game 5 is scheduled for Thursday night at Lenovo Center in Raleigh.
Bussi posted a strong regular season record with Carolina after being claimed off waivers earlier in the year. The team now returns home with momentum heading into the next game of the series.
