Clearwater police have finished an 11-month investigation into the death of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan and ruled it an attended natural death with no foul play.
Terry Gene Bollea, known to fans as Hulk Hogan, died on July 24, 2025, at age 71. The primary cause was a heart attack, with atrial fibrillation and chronic lymphocytic leukemia listed as contributing factors. A private family autopsy confirmed the death came from natural disease only.

The extended probe started after concerns from Hogan’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, about his past neck surgeries and medical care. Police reviewed medical records, interviewed witnesses, examined body cam and security footage, and found the family fully cooperative. Officials said the high-profile case needed extra review, but everything pointed to a medical event with no criminal involvement.
The case is now closed. Records stay protected under Florida privacy laws.
