Spurs guard Devin Vassell said the team is sticking together even though they trail the Knicks 0-2 in the NBA Finals.
“We’re here for a reason,” Vassell told reporters after Game 2. He pointed to the group’s trust and belief in one another as they prepare for Game 3 on Monday night at Madison Square Garden.

The Spurs reached the Finals after a strong playoff run that included several close wins on the road. Vassell has been a steady presence in the backcourt all season and through the postseason.
San Antonio will try to cut the series lead when the teams meet again at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC and ESPN. The Knicks have won the first two games at home.
