The Minnesota Timberwolves, Brooklyn Nets, and Chicago Bulls agreed to a three team trade on Monday night.
Julius Randle and the Timberwolves No. 28 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft are heading to the Nets. In exchange, the Timberwolves receive the Nets No. 33 pick. Nic Claxton is going to the Bulls as part of the deal.
The move gives the Timberwolves salary cap flexibility while they look to make further roster adjustments. Randle, a veteran forward, joins the Nets, who are adding frontcourt depth. The Bulls acquire Claxton, a defensive minded center to bolster their roster.
