Joe, a 26 year old sharpshooter, spent recent seasons with Oklahoma City. He has been known for his three point shooting off the bench. The move gives Detroit added perimeter scoring.
The Thunder, with a deep roster, used the deal to gain future assets. Joe becomes part of Detroit’s efforts to improve its supporting cast around core players. The trade was reported on Friday.
