Jrue Holiday celebrated his 36th birthday on June 12 while playing for the Portland Trail Blazers.
The veteran guard joined the team in 2025 after a trade from the Boston Celtics. In the 2025-26 season, he averaged 16.3 points, 6.1 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game while helping the Blazers reach the playoffs.
Holiday received the team’s 2025-26 Maurice Lucas Award. The honor goes to the player who best shows the spirit of Maurice Lucas through his play and support for teammates and the organization.
The 17 year NBA veteran has won two championships and earned multiple All-Defensive team selections during his career. He continues to provide steady leadership and defense for Portland.
