A fan sprinted onto the court during Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night and tried to take a selfie with Victor Wembanyama. The moment happened in the middle of play as the San Antonio Spurs star stood near midcourt.
Wembanyama looked surprised and later said he did not know how to react. Security quickly grabbed the fan and escorted him off the floor. The fan was arrested afterward and has been banned for life from NBA arenas.
The game continued without further delay. Clips of the incident spread quickly online and drew plenty of reaction from fans watching at home.
