The Chicago Bulls picked forward Dailyn Swain with the 15th selection in the first round of the 2026 NBA Draft on Tuesday night.
Swain, who played his junior season at Texas after transferring from Xavier, stands at 6-7 or 6-8 and weighs around 225 pounds. He earned SEC Newcomer of the Year honors and helped the Longhorns reach the Sweet 16 with a strong breakout campaign.
The Bulls added Swain after using an earlier first round pick on Caleb Wilson. Swain brings size, athleticism, and a physical style as a wing who attacks the rim and rebounds well. Some fans and analysts compared his traits to other big athletic wings but noted differences in his downhill play and strength.
Texas fans wished him well as he joins the Bulls roster. The selection gives Chicago another young piece for their frontcourt and wing rotation heading into the next season.
