The Milwaukee Bucks have added forward Jaime Jaquez Jr. as part of a major trade with the Miami Heat. The deal, completed in late June 2026, sent Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis to Miami. In return, the Bucks received Jaquez Jr., Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, Kasparas Jakučionis, and several draft picks.
Jaquez Jr., who was drafted by the Heat in 2023 out of UCLA, showed strong improvement in the 2025-26 season. He averaged 15.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game while playing 28.3 minutes. He shot 50.7 percent from the field and led the NBA in total bench points with 1,138. He finished second in voting for Sixth Man of the Year.
The 25 year old forward brings versatility to Milwaukee’s roster. He can score, rebound, and pass effectively in multiple positions. His recent production connects his growth from limited rookie minutes to a more consistent role with the Heat.
