Jalen Brunson posted 20 points, five assists and five steals in a road game during the NBA Finals.
The Knicks point guard became just the fifth player in league history to reach those marks away from home. He joins Jimmy Butler, Allen Iverson, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen on the list.
The performance came in New York’s Game 2 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night. It was also the first time any Knicks player has recorded 20-plus points, five plus assists and five plus steals in an NBA Finals game.
Brunson has started every playoff game for the Knicks this postseason. The team now leads the best-of-seven series 2-0 and returns home for Game 3 on Monday.
