These matches help determine the final spots in the main draw at the All England Club. Players are adjusting to grass courts ahead of the main tournament.
In other action, Clara Tauson defeated Diana Shnaider in the Bad Homburg Open. Naomi Osaka led Magdalena Frech in another match there.
