Ben Shelton defeated Ethan Quinn 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 in the round of 16 at the ATP Terra Wortmann Open on June 18.
Shelton took the first set and recovered after dropping the second to close out the match in three sets. The No. 3 seed continued his impressive run, securing a sixth consecutive victory. The American improved to a strong record on grass this season after winning the Stuttgart title the week before.
He will face fellow American Taylor Fritz in the quarterfinals. The pair met in the Stuttgart final, where Shelton came out on top.
Both players have shown solid form on the surface heading into the match.
