Rising Stars Break New Ground in Latest WTA Rankings

Several players reached career high positions in the latest PIF WTA Rankings, headlined by standout runs on clay and consistent breakthroughs across the tour.

Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk climbed to a new peak of world No. 12, improving from her previous best of No. 15. The 23 year old has enjoyed a strong season, building on her earlier career high push with solid results that have cemented her place deeper in the top tier.

Even more dramatic was Maja Chwalinska’s surge. The Polish left hander rocketed to No. 21 a massive leap from her prior career best of No. 113. Her performance, including a deep Grand Slam run as a qualifier, delivered one of the biggest single ranking jumps in recent memory.

Other notable movers include Oleksandra Oliynykova (No. 51, up from 65), Daria Snigur (No. 84, up from 93) and Alina Korneeva (No. 96, up from 117)

Smaller but meaningful gains came for Petra Marcinko (No. 50), Solana Sierra (No. 56), Nikola Bartunkova (No. 61), Lilli Tagger (No. 86), Sinja Kraus (No. 92), and Lanlana Tararudee (No. 94).

These updates reward strong form in recent weeks and set the stage for more movement as the grass court swing begins. With momentum building for several mid tier talents, the women’s game continues to show depth beyond the established top players.
