Naomi Osaka advanced to the final of the Bad Homburg Open on Friday.
The Japanese player, ranked No. 15, defeated China’s Xinyu Wang 6-3, 6-3 in the semifinals. She completed the match in 69 minutes and has not dropped a set in the tournament.

In holds a 15-6 record for the 2026 season. This marks her 14th career WTA final, her first final this year, and her first on grass. She has won all three of her matches this week in straight sets.
Osaka last claimed a WTA title at the 2021 Australian Open. She will face either Karolina Muchova or Elena Gabriela Ruse in Saturday’s championship match.
