Karolina Muchova defeated Irina Camelia Begu 6-1, 6-1 on Wednesday to reach the quarterfinals at the WTA 500 grass court tournament.
The Czech player controlled the match from the start and needed just over an hour to finish it. Muchova broke Begu's serve multiple times and limited the Romanian veteran to only two games total.
Muchova improved her head to head record against Begu. She now advances to face Clara Tauson in the quarterfinals. The win keeps her grass court form steady ahead of Wimbledon.
