Amanda Anisimova reached the quarterfinals of the HSBC Championships at Queen’s Club on Wednesday.
The American player defeated Germany’s Laura Siegemund 6-1, 6-3 in the second round. The match lasted just over an hour.
Anisimova will next face fellow American Iva Jovic in the quarterfinals. Both players earned straight-sets wins to set up the matchup.
Anisimova has looked comfortable on the grass courts this week. The 24-year-old reached the Wimbledon final last year and has maintained a strong position in the WTA rankings.
