The UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House South Lawn pulled in solid viewership numbers on Paramount+.
The seven fight card averaged 8.2 million viewers across the United States and Latin America. That broke down to about 7 million in the U.S. and 1.2 million in Latin America. Nearly 17 million people watched at least one minute of the live broadcast, with 15.26 million from the U.S. and 1.67 million from Latin America. Paramount+ called it the biggest live event audience in its history for an exclusive streaming show.
The numbers came from Nielsen and Adobe Analytics and covered only live viewing. Global figures are still to come. The event featured multiple title bouts and ended with several finishes by knockout or TKO.
Key highlights included Justin Gaethje stopping Ilia Topuria in the fourth round for the lightweight title. Ciryl Gane defeated Alex Pereira by second round TKO in an interim heavyweight title fight. Sean O’Malley also scored a knockout win. Every fight on the card reportedly ended inside the distance.
The special White House setting and championship stakes helped draw attention to the card on the streaming service.
