The group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup continued on Saturday with four matches across different groups.

In Group B, Qatar and Switzerland played to a 1-1 draw at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Breel Embolo scored for Switzerland in the first half, and Qatar equalized late through a stoppage-time goal.

In Group C, Brazil and Morocco also finished level at 1-1 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The result kept both teams level on points early in the group.

Haiti fell 0-1 to Scotland in another Group C match at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. John McGinn scored the only goal in the first half for Scotland, marking their first World Cup win since 1990.

In Group D, Australia defeated Turkiye 2-0 at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada. Nestory Irankunda opened the scoring in the first half, and Connor Metcalfe added a second goal later in the match.

These results left several teams with early points in their groups as the tournament continues.
