World Cup Group Stage Sees Four Draws on June 15

Four matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage on Monday all finished level, leaving several teams with early points in their groups.

In Group H at Atlanta Stadium, Spain played to a 0-0 draw with Cabo Verde. The European side controlled much of the game but could not break down a stubborn defense from the debutants.

Saudi Arabia and Uruguay shared a 1-1 result in Miami in another Group H contest. Both teams found the net but could not secure a winner in a competitive encounter.

Group G matches also ended in stalemates. Belgium and Egypt finished 1-1 in Seattle, with each side claiming a goal in a balanced affair. Later, Iran and New Zealand battled to a 2-2 draw in Los Angeles, where New Zealand took leads twice only for Iran to respond each time through Ramin Rezaeian and Mohammad Mohebi.

These results keep the early standings tight across the groups involved. The tournament continues with more group stage games in the coming days.
