Barcelona plan to open talks with Ferran Torres over a new deal this summer. The 26 year old forward’s current contract runs until 2027, and the club wants to keep him for several more years.
Torres had a strong 2025-26 season under coach Hansi Flick. He scored important goals, including in El Clasico, and shared the Zarra Trophy as La Liga’s top Spanish scorer with teammate Lamine Yamal.

The forward has shown good form and versatility up front. Barcelona see him as a key part of the squad moving forward and are expected to accelerate extension discussions with his agent.
Torres has also featured for Spain in recent international matches. The club’s decision comes as they look to secure core players ahead of the next season.
