The Chicago White Sox won two of three games against the Los Angeles Dodgers this weekend to claim their first series victory over the Dodgers since 2014.
The White Sox trailed early in Sunday’s game but responded with three home runs in the sixth inning off Dodgers starter Emmet Sheehan and reliever Jack Dreyer. The rally turned a one run deficit into a multi run lead. Erick Fedde earned the win, and Seranthony Dominguez recorded the save in the 6-4 victory.
The series win came at the end of a 4-1 homestand for Chicago against the top teams in each league. The White Sox improved their record and remained in first place in the American League Central.
