The Minnesota Twins scored 12 runs on 17 hits to defeat the Texas Rangers 12-2 on Tuesday night at Globe Life Field.
Trevor Larnach opened the game with a leadoff home run. Kody Clemens later hit a three run homer as part of the Twins offensive output. Minnesota collected hits from multiple players and built a lead early.

Zebby Matthews pitched seven innings for the Twins and allowed two runs on eight hits. The Rangers recorded eight hits but did not score after the early innings.
The win gave Minnesota another series victory on the road. The teams are scheduled to play again on Thursday.
