The infielder recently connected for two home runs in a 7-1 win over the Chicago White Sox. He finished that game 3 for 3 with four RBI, adding to his season total of 14 home runs.
Muncy, who agreed to a one-year contract extension with the Dodgers in February, is batting .269 with a .875 OPS. His bat and defense at third base have helped the team stay competitive in the National League West.
The 35 year old veteran continues to deliver at the plate after dealing with minor physical issues earlier in the year. The Dodgers value his experience and production as they push forward in the standings.
