Drake Baldwin hit a 473 foot home run in his first game back from injury for the Atlanta Braves against the San Francisco Giants on June 16.
The Braves catcher blasted the leadoff homer off Giants pitcher Adrian Houser in the bottom of the first inning at Truist Park. The drive traveled 473 feet with an exit velocity of 113 mph, marking the longest home run of the 2026 season so far.
Baldwin had been out since mid May with a strained oblique. He returned to the lineup and delivered the blast in his opening at bat. The game was later suspended due to rain.
Baldwin now has 14 home runs on the season. He previously hit a solo home run during a rehab appearance with Triple A Gwinnett on June 14.
