Mookie Betts had a strong night for Los Angeles. He finished 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and an RBI. The home run was the 300th of his career.
The Dodgers took control with a three run third inning. Their bullpen held the lead from there. Kyle Hurt, Alex Vesia, and Tanner Scott worked the final three innings without allowing a run. Scott earned his 11th save of the season.
Joe Ryan started for the Twins. He struck out nine batters over six innings. Minnesota could not overcome the early deficit despite some late chances.
The win completed a three game sweep for the Dodgers. Los Angeles improved to 52-29 on the season.
