The Arizona Diamondbacks scored three runs in the ninth inning to beat the Cincinnati Reds 5-2 on the road Friday night.
An error by the Reds helped set up the late rally. Jordan Lawlar delivered a two run single that proved key in the inning. The D-backs bullpen held the lead after that, with closer Paul Sewald earning the save.

The win snapped Arizona’s three game losing streak and moved the team to 35-34 on the season. The Reds have now dropped seven of their last eight games.
The two teams continue their series Saturday afternoon at Great American Ball Park.
