The Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2 on Thursday night with a walk-off home run in the ninth inning.
Ketel Marte hit a solo homer off Dodgers reliever Tanner Scott to end the game. It was the Dodgers’ first walk off loss of the season.
Los Angeles had led 2-0 through six innings. Starter Justin Wrobleski threw six shutout innings but did not get a decision. The Diamondbacks tied the score later and won it in the final at bat.
The teams split their four-game series in Arizona.
In the middle of the game, Dodgers first baseman Max Muncy and Diamondbacks infielder Ildemaro Vargas collided at first base while chasing a pop-up. Both players left the game.
The Dodgers head home after the short trip to Arizona. The Diamondbacks stay home for their next series.
