The 2026 Men’s College World Series reached its final stage after Wednesday’s semifinal games.
North Carolina defeated West Virginia 12-7, and Oklahoma beat Georgia 11-4. Both wins eliminated the losing teams and sent the Tar Heels and Sooners to the best of three championship series.
No games are scheduled for Thursday, June 18. The teams will prepare for the title matchup at Charles Schwab Field.
The series opens Saturday night with North Carolina facing Oklahoma. Game 2 is set for Sunday, and a possible Game 3 would follow on Monday if needed. North Carolina holds the home field edge for Games 1 and 3.
The winner will claim the national championship.
