The 2026 Men’s College World Series begins Friday at Charles Schwab Field Omaha with eight teams competing in a double elimination format.
The NCAA tournament’s final stage runs from June 12 through June 21 or 22. Two four team brackets will play out, with the winners meeting in a best-of-three championship series.

On Friday, Troy faces No. 16 West Virginia at 1 p.m. CT, followed by Ole Miss against No. 5 North Carolina at 6 p.m. CT. Both games air on ESPN.
Saturday features Oklahoma versus No. 7 Alabama at 2 p.m. CT and No. 6 Texas against No. 3 Georgia at 7 p.m. CT, also on ESPN.
The field includes several SEC programs alongside first-time participants Troy and West Virginia. The event continues with elimination and winners games through the middle of next week before the finals.
