The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Oakland Athletics 15-14 in 11 innings Monday night in Las Vegas. The game featured a total of 34 hits and 11 home runs. Christian Yelich scored the winning run in the top of the 12th on a throwing error by Athletics second baseman Jeff McNeil.

The game went back and forth for more than four hours. Oakland built an early lead, but Milwaukee rallied late and took the win in extra innings. One fan account described it as a “marathon classic” with the Brewers battling back to secure the victory.
The win improved the Brewers recent form as they continue their season in the National League Central.
