The Los Angeles Angels dropped a 5-4 decision to the Houston Astros on Monday night.
Kirby Yates, the Angels closer, took the loss after blowing his second save of the season. He allowed the go ahead run in the ninth inning. Sam Bachman earned a hold earlier in the game for Los Angeles.

Mike Trout started the game with an error on a fly ball that led to a run. He later got thrown out at home plate trying to score on a hit in the final inning. Logan O’Hoppe went 0 for 5 at the plate.
Manager Kurt Suzuki drew criticism from fans for his bullpen choices and decision to send Trout home. Zach Neto also faced scrutiny after the loss.
